Biographie does not observe time blocks. You are welcome to book any 6 hours minimum, any day of the week!

Absolutely! You have the freedom to choose your own caterers, florists, planners, and other vendors. We’re also happy to provide a list of trusted vendors who are familiar with our space.


Do you allow outside caterers & Vendors?

Yes! You get to bring your own alcohol, however a licensed bartender or certificate of insurance (COI) with Host Liquor Liability is required, with The CoLab Lakewood LLC as additional insured, noted on the policy. Proof of insurance is required at least 2 weeks before your event.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Can we tour before booking?

Yes, we have tons of off-street parking with two building lots, plus additional parking at Madison Park.

The Venue

To reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a 25% deposit for weddings or 50% for space rentals. Once received, your date is confirmed and we'll begin planning with you.

How do I reserve my date?

When you arrive, the furnishings will be set as discussed in your planning meeting, and an Event Concierge will be on-site from 12pm–12am to support you and your vendors with venue-related needs. They don't manage catering or bar setup, so if you’re looking for full planning support, we recommend hiring a dedicated planner.

Do you offer a coordinator?

Your All Day Soirée includes private access to the venue, setup & cleanup, tables and chairs for up to 84 guests, lounge furnishings, a mobile bar, kitchenette access, a private dressing room, and a catering prep space. You’ll also have use of our 10’ ceiling clips, planning guidance from our team, and a venue coordinator on-site the day of your wedding.

What's included in the booking?

When available, you can add up to 3 hours of pre-wedding access for $450. We’re not able to host rehearsal dinners, as we’ll be setting and prepping for your wedding day.

Can we add onto our rental time?

For ceremony + reception celebrations, we can seat up to 84 guests, though we recommend 55–65 to allow for a smooth room transition. Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour while we reset the space for dinner. For reception-only events, we can accommodate up to 84 seated guests.

All seated guests count toward capacity, including the couple and wedding party. Vendors only count if they require seating in the reception hall (our vendor room is available for meals). Final numbers depend on your layout.

What is the maximum capacity?

We include a one-hour planning meeting 2–3 weeks before your event to finalize layout and venue details.

On-site coordination is not included in the Standard rental but can be added with an Event Concierge if you’d like additional day-of support.

Your Standard rental includes six hours of private access, setup of tables and chairs for up to 84 guests, lounge furnishings, a mobile bar, kitchenette access, and use of our 10’ ceiling clips for lightweight décor. You’ll also meet with our team 2–3 weeks prior to review layout details and ensure everything is thoughtfully planned.

To officially reserve your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit. Once both are received, your date is confirmed on our calendar, and we’ll begin working with you to plan your layout around 2-3 weeks before your event.

How do I reserve my date?

We can seat up to 84 guests, depending what other details/experiences you would like to fit in the venue. The final capacity depends on your event layout, whether it’s a cocktail-style event or a formal dinner.

Vendors may arrive at the start of your contracted rental time. If earlier access is needed, additional rental hours must be added (based on availability).

When can vendors arrive to set up?

For weddings, our team handles venue-related cleanup, while vendors are responsible for their service areas.

Who handles cleanup?

Yes, since we don't have a liquor license, we do require event liability insurance with Host Liquor Liability for all events taking place at Biographie. Please reach out to our team if you have any questions or need help finding the best option.
